[Checking in the mailbox will reveal a very small package, wrapped up carefully. Opening it reveals a pin, and under it a letter written in what is actually pretty tidy writing.]

Use this in case of emergencies. All you have to do is touch it and think of me really hard. It'll take you straight to the inside of my trailer, hopefully away from anything that's causing us trouble. It only works on the grounds of the carnival, so get very good at running back here and always keep in mind how to get back.

[At least he actually sees the card this time. It is promptly thrown in the fish bag with the card he never noticed before. He'll probably assume the second one started duplicating of its own accord if he ever finds the first.

The pin is kept with him, though. Just in case.]

[Steven's been making seashell jewelry with the merfolk, and so naturally he's decided to share the wealth with his treasured friends. He'll either give it to you in person or via your mailbox. If in person, he'll pretty much just swim up to you and be like "Here! This is for you! I made it!" and if you get it in the mailbox it will have a note with it that basically says the same thing, plus a small doodle of a heart-shaped fish.

Steven has made Tamaki a seashell bracelet. It will be gifted sometime during the off week.]

[Tamaki looks pretty surprised as he takes the bracelet from Steven. It might be a little too small for him in his current larger, whale shark form, but he will definitely wear it once he shrinks back down.]

I confess this is a bit of an awkward letter to write as I never actually succeeded in doing any harm to you. Still, the intent was there, so I feel I must apologize for my actions nonetheless.

[It takes Yuya looking in the mailbox, finding this letter, and dumping it in Tamaki's lap for him to see it, so excuse the reply being a few days later, Strange.]

[Guess who's got a bone to pick with you, Tamaki. It's Yuya.

Honestly Tamaki barely gets time to enter the trailer before Yuya springs up and points a finger dramatically.] You!

[Tamaki jumps when he's suddenly accosted the moment he enters the trailer, staring at Yuya with his hands up.]

What!? What!?

Did you know what else the sock meant?!

[This is a lot of assumed context.]

The sock...?

[Tamaki stares at him blankly for a moment, before remembering what he told Yuya before.]

You mean the sock for the door...?

[hippocarnival]

Yes. [He crosses his arms, his tone dropping to something sullen.] That's not what I meant when I said I wanted privacy.

[puddingemote]

Not for jerking off or something? [Tamaki scratches his nose, apparently unconcerned about the topic of his conversation.] Then what?

[JESUS CHRIST TAMAKI.] NO?!

[Yuya huffs and puffs and--frankly doesn't calm down but he does lower the volume a bit.] I meant something like a private conversation! Personal stuff, not that!

[He's just embarrassed because he had to have his best friend explain it to him.]

[Tamaki holds his hands up again, if it will get Yuya to stop yelling so loud! But then he does quiet a bit, and Tamaki lowers them again.]

You're so fussy, Yuu-chan... ah, but fine. If you don't like the sock, just put a sign out or something.

[He misses having his own room...]

[Yuya grumbles. He's also starting to miss having his own room.] I'm not fussy. And I made a sign now. [He points to the hazard 'Keep Out' sign that's slumped on the bookshelf. It's very teenager.]

[Theirs will be the most teenager trailer in the lot.]

Fussy. [Tamaki asserts it again, rolling his eyes. Most of the other guys he lived with didn't mind him coming in whenever, or keeping snacks, or making a mess, mostly because they all did the same.]

Why are you so mad? Did someone think you were having sex?

I don't want them to. [Especially people like Yuzu, because if even Gongenzaka knew what it meant, what kind of nonsense would that have turned into.] I don't think that's the kind of thing you announce with a sock anyway.

[He's a celebrity child, but he still has a sense of privacy.]

The guys in Portland seemed pretty happy to...

[Because they wanted everyone to know exactly what they were up to, which Yuya clearly does not.]

[Does he look like the guys from Portland, Tamaki.] Well, I'm not doing that anyway.

[At least he's diffusing.]

[No offense meant to Yuya. Tamaki walks around him and starts rummaging around for something to snack on.]

Should I put the sign up for you, too?

[Yuya turns around as Tamaki walks right on by.] Of course! I don't want to walk in on anything you don't want me to see.

[Or that Yuya doesn't want to see, in all honesty.

All this commotion finally draws Koemi out of the bathroom. There's a splash, and then she plods wetly over the floor]

[He jumps at the splash, nearly dropping the bag of nuts he had just pulled out of a drawer. He's half expecting Strange to have fallen from their mirror and into the sink or something, but then he sees a little otter.]

Oh. That surprised me.

[Yuya raises a brow as Tamaki startles.] It's just my daemon. You have one too, right?

[He's yet to see anyone who doesn't have one, but then he also hasn't been far out of the carnival today.]
